I'm armed with Eurosport Player on my iPad in the office, Eurosport Player on my cellphone for the commute home and a TV waiting at home with two channels showing the race. This stage better not let me down...

Great interview from Kessiakoff. "I've never ridden in the Pyrenees as far as I know". Either a problem with memory or lack of geography knowledge? :D

What happened?

Riding along at the back of the bunch going up the left hand side, for some reason (possibly a large concrete block jutting more into the road than he expected) he dived head first off his bike and down a long drop into some bushes completely disappearing.

Some spectator helped up from down there and he's back riding and rejoined the main bunch. But no real idea why...

Thanks. Yeah, seems like the most exciting thing that would happen on this stage.

Hopefully we'll get a bit of a KoM battle in the breakaway, as both Voeckler and Kessiakoff are in it among others.

yEAH No way dumoulin hangs on to top of this climb, taaramae and rui costa would be two strong enough to take this to the finish.

Dammit, seems like I've missed the most exciting moment of today's stage.

What happened?

Frank Schleck with a large hook?:D
Very odd indeed.
Much like Karpets-Contador last year, only with a bit of a drop.

A tribute to Fränk Schleck no doubt.

I don't think anyone has been dropped yet. Eisel is still on the front. They're going at grupetto-speed...

Evans should remember this climb of the Aubisque, as it is where he attacked from a break during his first TDF back in 2005 - though it was the last climb on that day.

He should also remember it for looking helpless against the Rasmussen/Contador/Leipheimer/Soler attacks in 2007.

He's there if I saw correctly, next to Wiggins, but not on the front. Still funny though.

Eisel on front at the moment, Cav behind Wiggo.

Perhaps they are saving Cav for the tourmalet? :D
