Evans to ride for TJVG tomorrow?

He really should. As good as Tejay is in the TT, he could move up a couple spots with a good day tomorrow.

Well then, clearly this is how it should be, with Wiggins being able to counter all attacks.

Nibali putting the hurt on Froome.

Let's see what his recovery is tomorrow.

Too close to the top though.

45s to VDB2

So how about that? Wiggins closing the gap on his own ;).

Yes, because Froome was on the front after Nibali attacked first, catched Nibali. Wiggins only sat back, and watched the show.

Yay tree seconds on the wind. Great job.

I have the impression that a great climber would break Sky apart completely: Sanchez, Gesink, Schleck...

I hope we don't get another Beloki type incident - you can see the tar melting in the heat

So who'll be the top 5 in Paris? Wiggins, Froome, Nibali, VDB2 and.... Van Garderen?

He tried before though, and didn't seem to be able to go much faster. I'm sure he will try again tomorrow, if he isn't able to shed either of the Sky guys then there's not really anything he could've done. His team was too weak to try something more daring too.

Nah - Evans to do a Landis tomorrow (without the subforum stuff) - don't forget - same sponsor, same DS...

He'll have to hit the JD tonight then.

I agree with this. Also he spent his whole career trying to win the Tour. Last he finally managed it, so maybe its understandable that his motivation dropped a bit.

I wonder if Wiggo will have quite the same focus next year assuming he holds on.

I can see him cutting back into his training load, maybe eating a little more and working for Froome.

FWIW, looking at the numbers, if the performances from the first ITT hold to the next ITT, if Tejay can hang with Zubeldia and VDB tomorrow, he has a real shot at 4th place overall after the ITT.
