Zubeldia 5th in GC.

So tough competition at this TDF.

Sky are god damn robots, after all, they put almost 30 seconds on Nicolas Roche on the queen stage of the TDF!

Zubeldia is description of rider who is always invisible but still ends in a good position.

1. this isn't the queen stage
2. it's 58", not 30"

I know what you mean. It's a TDF with a relatively poor quality this year.

As any year I keep saying, let's hope for a first week without big falls...

its like that said:
Battle for the polka dot is the most interesting aspect of this tour now

Kessiakoff should take few points off Voeckler's lead and then battle could go all the way to final stage!

CAS now 3 minutes behind Pinot at 10th. Roche, Klöden and Horner at 11th, 12th and 13th.
If Kloden can hang on tomorrow he's got a top ten ahead of him...better than nothing.

A little bit guttered today but it was expected. I think Cadel wanted to give George a big send off!

I am putting my support behind Vincenzo to as much as possible tommorrow.

I think the fact that Kloden could well still finish top 10 says it all really.

Bad day for Coppel

50. Coppel + 15.54

Roche could still grab a top 10 spot. Finished ahead of Rolland and Pinot but needs more than 90 seconds on Kloden ahead of the final TT i would have thought.

It is a shame that Tomalaris and Sunderland seem to want to kick Cadel when he is down. Even on the Australian coverage...

I would have expected better from Sunderland, being an ex pro, but, well... I guess not. They waffle on for ages before getting to their point that contains about ten words.

At least Anthony Tan isn't there...

Tomalaris very quickly jumps off board and I also do not think that Sunderland is the brightest spark that some people make him out to be.

Not really, that's where he was in 2003 (not a weak line-up) and 2007.

I know, but his age and results of the past 3/4 years suggest he should not be there.
Results from 5 years ago are not relevant in this case

Good stage, selective enough to sort out top 3.
It was good to see Basso in front today. I hope Liquigas will try to drop Sky on Bales. It definitely won't enough to wait until the final climb.

It doesn't look any weaker than last year to me though.
Just check Rolland's position and gap for further evidence.
