hfer07 said:endless thanks to the breakaway riders for making this dumb stage into an entertaining one. VDV had nothing to even challenge Fedrigo at the finish line-he really attacked at the right place & the right time.
in the mean time- Wiggo & the UK postal are cruising to reach the finish line![]()
Indeed. Hard to understand why he would pull so much with Fedrigo. Fedrigo would beat CVV in 99 of 100 sprints.meandmygitane said:Wonder why they waited until 10km to attack, could have been a lot more interesting if they attacked from far out. And CVV did not ride very well at the end. Less cooperation, more tactics please.

I wonder if he was recalled and docked, or if I miscalculated the time limit...should be 7% of 3:40:15.Frosty said:Vanotti 15.31

I thought Tour wins are supposed to mean something and yet teams like Greenedge would rather have a training ride than make an effort to win the stage.
no they didnt work at allMagnus said:Have you ever ridden a bike? It's not like they have unlimited power. It took a lot of time for the break to get clear today. I didn't watch the first part of the stage but GE probably used a lot of energy trying to avoid an uncontrollable break to go.
