Mui stupido. Sky

He would have put a minute into him I guess. Full of anger.:)

Not a minute, maybe 20/30 seconds...unlike in La Toussuire this didn't make sense though, guess they didn't want to take any chances for the ITT...I think Froome's going to win it!

He would have taken the stage win.

Why not give him the stage and let him take 40-50 seconds on Wiggins? What would be the harm in that?

My guess is that if he took 30+ seconds the non-cycling Brits would figure out Froome might have been the better man. As there's very little knowledge on the sport there I doubt anyone will notice it this way. But to give up a potential tour stage just for that is pathetic.

Sky 1-2 secured. Brilliant stuff. Would Froome have taken at least 2 minutes on Wiggo today? Don't think so.

Brilliant to watch just to shove it down the faces of the team Sky haters. I can just imagine the faces of most of you when you watched your man Nibali crack, get in!

Can you stop the baiting already?

The French have to be very happy about this Tour. Rolland and Pinot for the future, T.V. winning the polka dots. All three getting stage wins (T.V x2). Fredrigo with a stage win. Rolland and Pinot in the GC picture.

Can't wait to hear their (W+F) separate, post race, and uncoordinated and unedited (or PR-ed) reactions.

Froome lost 1m with a mechanical, +35s on the ITT and was called back twice in the final stretches (3-5k) of mountain stages, where he could have won probably between 1-3m...

Nice gift for an ageing trackie.... :D

Wiggins had dropped all other contenders. Why should Froome wait? Seriously. I don't get it.

This. Let him go for the stage win. It's not like Wiggins was going to crack or lose the tour in the last 2 kms.

I never thought I'd be blowing the Valve' over the line for the win, I was betwide myself until one kilo to go when I absolved myself of the guilt, it's a funny old world when you ally yourself to the least dislikable option.

Wiggins will feel great about it. Because in 5 years nobody will remember Froome being stronger, but everyone will remember Wiggins winning.

Are you kidding me? I still remember 1985, for example. Maybe you mean nobody in the general public will remember ... cycling fans will remember.

Yeah. A nice reward for his work would have been a stage win...

The top 5 is pretty much a lock, really. I don't see Evans picking up a minute and a half on Tejay in the ITT. 1, 2, and 3 are set, only question is whether Tejay can pick up the time to beat VDB.

TJ TT better than Evans most of the time

Maybe Froome didn't want to and just wanted to stay with Wiggo. Will be interesting to hear what he says tonight.

Ah of course, such insight!

Seriously child, we're all impressed you can type but please step away from the keyboard.
