I think it will. Last corner will reduce speed so they won't be coming into the last kilometer with 60 km/hr. Also, I've been informed that the 2.8 % is rather close to 4 % over 700m, and then the last 150m is flat.

I don't know this for certain though. Anybody who lives there? :p

It should favour Goss/Cav/Sagan slightly.

IDK if you can seperate those + Greipel in a slightly uphill sprint. They've all had their moments on that type of finish.

No, but there is Flemish, right? (and of cause French ^^)

Sire, vous régnez sur deux peuples. Il y a en Belgique, des Wallons et des Flamands ; il n'y a pas de Belges.

That's bad news. The silver lining is that Veelers will get to continue showing what he can do, I suppose.

It makes the Tour pretty difficult for Argos. Their biggest star, and focus of their whole team, is gone and they didn't bring their next biggest name. I suppose they'll have to try and put someone in every breakaway like most other wildcard teams, but they don't have anybody who can climb well enough to win from a break on the kind of stage a break is most likely to win.
