No chance. He is back on his bike but doing zone 1 rides probably. He had small fractures and ligament damage in his leg/knee. At this point is just looking to the TdF, Ardennes start in one week.

Ligament injury is complicated. He shouldn't risk it. It's a shame, because he was the favorite for Flèche Wallonne.

I would think it's more of a last attempt to get back on track before Liege.

But yeah, if he had any kind of shape already he'd obviously do the classics instead of TotA.

i could imagine that his explosive punch would be most affected and that because of that he doesnt think he stands a chance in fleche . but then its just also very difficult for me to imagine anything better than an anonymous top20 in liege as the best case
