Certainly, the frame is cactus, but the various bits attached to it are the treasure.

Bits of Tom Danielson? Let's hope it's just skin and blood then.

Plastic bikes can be lethal. I do not want one, ever.

DB on today's stage...

Dave Brailsford said his cohort have all ridden on the mountain before adding: "La Planche des Belles Filles is a steep finish that is for sure, but it is not hard, it's not a real mountain stage. On Saturday people might have a bit more purpose in the breaks and then later on I'm sure we'll see some attacks."

But has it ever been race before? It one thing to ride a climb and another to race it. Unless the profile's a complete lie, I imagine this will be very hard. The grade of the climb is only the part of equation.

I find that statement inane. Sorry.

He's not a rider or DS, and he's not objective - probably not the man to go to for a stage preview.

Want to know who caused yesterday's crash? I think David Millar does. Lampre's Danilo Hondo says his team-mate Davide Vigano may have to shoulder some of the blame. He told Velonation: "Vigano was putting [Alessandro] Petacchi's shoes covers in his jersey, when some riders ahead slowed down. Davide had only one hand on the handlebars, so he could not brake properly and he fell into the ditch on the roadside. Then all the rest of the group crashed." Vigano one of those who had to abandon the race.

no, Sagan.

I heard he was taking it easy today, otherwise I could buy that. Just as well he'll stay in the grupetto because the clinic would crash the CN server without doubt.

Yup, definately his fault, riders have no place at the finish of a stage.

They both have a right to be there and yes it was bradley's fault. The camaraman was walking in a straight line and has a lot harder time of turning than someone on a bike.
