they will start the climb at huge speed after that descent
ebh will murder the legs at the beginning that's for sure. then richie will drill it.just 7 guys left
froomy takes over.everybody in pain.rolland goes and wins the stage.
wiggo and froomy 2nd and 3rd
cadel 4th on the line
cobo dragging alejandro as there is no tomorrow.5th and 6th

keeping in mind that these kind of climbs as MTF are a rarity in le tour, the watts unleashed will be huge especially because is that early.anything below 7 w/kg would be shameful
around 16'30'' of some good entertainment i hope

of course i've read that rolland might be injured.we might have a borefest on the climb but i doubt it.let's see also nibali and sammy.
i hope klodi will be there too

Porte fell 3 times today and not feeeling great. We might not see him in Sky's train tomorrow.

If Eddy has another 10 mins of 6.5W/Kilo in him, no need for Porte on something this short.

Sadly loss of Kosta means Eddy will likely be pushed to keep the rest of them near the front on the bumps leading in.

We all seemed to have are own version of reality. Horner or Rolland and especially Sanchez should be able to murder the GC guys on this climb. Cadel has not impressed this year.

I'm not sure of much, with regard tomorrow's stage, but one thing I am sure of is that Cadel will finish well ahead of Horner.
He was hardly impressive on that little stage 1 ramp.

If Horner is given the job of following Sanchez and actually arrives on the climb in good position, you may be surprised. If he has stay with someone, then no.

You don't follow him, he had to bring up Schleck who got lost at the back. Pulled 600 watts for a few Ks on the flat moving him to the front before that.

Rooting for Samu to do something great here, Gesink and VDB2 might be unleashing hell too since they have to. A break on the PdBF with Samu, Fränk, Cadel, VDB2, Gesink and Rolland working their a*ses of would be wonderful and what the race needs.

Evans has a problem, he might be able to get rid of Wiggins on this climb but might take the yellow jersey, which he has to defend way too early ...

Vanendert for the win

Horner second

Sanchez third

Frank Schleck to win this with an attack early in the climb, with Wiggins and Evans that will not respond to his attack, not considering him much of treat anymore for GC.

Likely as well, unless he cooked himself chasing today.

I can see Evans having a go, getting the company of JVdB, Mollema and some others... working together to gap Wiggins.

In addition to Evans, I expect Samu and VDB2, because they both seem to have escaped unscathed and should do well on these climbs. Especially Samu and VDB2 need to take as much time as possible, because there are so few opportunities to capitalize.

I am curious to see how Wiggins will do on such a steep climb.

{update}
Gesink in an interview now says he doesn't really have any pain or anything (some road rash, and bruises, but he says it's not too bad at all), so maybe that bodes well for tomorrow.

He can always let someone else take the yellow jersey in the stage to Porrentruy (and if he feels great in that stage, attack again).

This is not going to be a climb where people have significant pace in reserve, either to attack, or to choose to not go with something.

Being part of the choo choo train will be the quickest way to the top.

Why ever not?
