Wiggans will win this Tour by default. Can't we just skip this year? This is not worthy of a Tour anymore. Competition is weakest since I've seen in a long long time.

favourite maybe not but certainly someone who could animate the race, already too few of them :(

He would have been a spanner in the works, though. Put the pressure on, try and make something happen. So many guys who could at least throw their hat in the ring have gone out.

His strongest competitors are Froome and Evans and they are still in the race.

I'm guessing either a spectator, or some trash on the road that he might have been trying to avoid? No one else apart from Valverde seemed to bothered by it.
