Maybe Canc just isn't so superstrong this year, remember that Kessiakoff beat him in TdS on a similiar course.

With due respect, that's absurd. Just look at the parcours. This is not an ideal course for FC. Yes, a great ride by Froome (and, apparently by Wiggins) but no need to lose all perspective.
