Larsson takes the lead with 54.19. Just 45.84 km/h, course doesn't look that tough does it? Headwind maybe?

Well those lumps probably cost a couple of kh/h, and the last two days were not a training ride. Larsson is a specialist so his recovery rate means there is a reasonable gap between fresh TTs and one this far in to a GT.

To me that looks like a very tough pacours. 46km/h average is quiet low. This is a real test today and we'll se large gaps.

I think Martin is going to take 1st today, he's tank! ;)

Don't know, i fear he'l lose a lot of time in downhill sections and corners due to his hand. I mean he is never good at that. But with his hand being in a bad state, it will probably even be worse:(:(

I agree, not surprised at that time at all, I would be more surprised if we see too many over 48 today, partially due to the route but also there is a lot of race to go yet, even with a rest tomorrow.

Good time by LLS.

I believe Tony Martin will go under 53 minutes. It will be a battle between him, Canc and Wiggo.

Anyone knows if Mark Cavendish will retire after this stage to prepare for the olympic games? I`m kinda disappointed with his form so far

The only one that can answer that is Mark Cavendish. His form has been fine, it's the crashes that have held him back.

Apologies if already posted:

Team doctor advises Tony to quit:

"Tony wants to ride the time trial, but after that it would be best if he quits the Tour," team doctor Helge Riepenhof told Het Nieuwsblad. "I can see he's suffering by continuing to race with the fracture. After one week, his back and knees are starting to be affected, too. In order not to risk anything in view of the Olympic Games, he'd better stop and start over at home in Switzerland."

Katusha will also try control it for JROD as well. Moreno alone is a good enough train.
RSNT are quite a strong team if i must say. Some of their TDF riders ( Cancellara, maybe Monfort ) will go and Zaugg/ Thomas R could feature.

Sure, but will be nothing like we see at the moment in the Tour
