I don't care how boring this stage is going to be, I'm just glad to be back to RACING SEASON!! Hard to look past Greipel given his form and his past successes in the TDU...

I don't know how folk are rating Greipel so far above every other sprinter already. Lotto got rid of every other contender who wasn't EBH, and EBH had to work to even get to his wheel, then started his sprint early. Greipel was good, but lotto was great.
I expect to see Sky and Lotto having the battle of the trains, maybe Greenedge, and the other sprinters fighting for Greipel's wheel.
Would like to see a good train killing as Hondo manages to take Greipel's wheel, pre-empt the leadout, Pettachi for the win.

Pettachi can't beat Greipel on a flat finish. Only Cav can beat/match Greipel and he is not at the TDU.

Yeh I had Grandstand Digital on and was expecting the TdU, instead there was some riveting tennis discussion.

I was told to retune by the guy at ABC because supposedly they have an ABC TDU digital station but can't get it working.

They actually have created another station called"Tennis" hwhich has the same Tennis discussion as on ABC Grandstand! :mad:

Greipel is crazily fast but has shocking positional skills. If Lotto continue to provide him with the leadout then he will continue to win. Cant wait to see a proper duel between him and Cav. The stunning top speed of Greipel versus the superb kick of Cav.

I just tuned in to the radio, so I'm not sure if the announcers description of dangerous crosswinds are exaggerations or truths, but still some action apparently.

If that GPS info is correct, all of GreenEdge was caught behind.

Edit: Obviously incorrect, twitter says only 100m between the main groups.

Feillu crashed according to race radio.

my fault, i cursed him the moment i put a long shot bet on him. Now just waiting for blythe to get a flat tire :)
