The break are doing a decent job with the gap at 11:05 with 88kms to go, but ultimately small break + temperatures of 40C + headwind = no chance unless something goes badly wrong.

Bloody hot in Adelaide today apparently about 30 behind schedule. Bout to go over KOM climb 1.3km AT 3.77% reminds me a lot of Monte Zoncolan!!!

Certain tours should do away with having KOMs. They could replace it with a jersey for the rider who gets swooped by the most magpies or give out primes for running over the largest spider.
