Just seeing the TDU snippet on Nine news I must say that Hooters was really close to Greipel in that finish.

He did do well but Hansen said the team missed JR.

Favourite for the gc? I'd still say that EBH is the big favourite right now with Matthews the second favourite. Those guys can pick up time in the flat sprint stages where as Gerrans won't.

Gerrans might pick up some time today, if the race is hard enough.

A pity that Haussler is now not in contention for GC ( not enough time bonuses )

Renshaw found himself in front after the last corner, turned around to find Matthews not there and thus took off for the line.

In the end he went too early, but thats racing.

Andre came from long way back, so good win.
