Not only the closed season will seem endless, this year.

Well do you have any proof to the contrary that he isn't on form? **** off you little troll. I am tired of having to read you continually being negative towards my posts for no constructive reason.

No pity for those getting up in the middle of the night...welcome to our world (Southern Hemisphere).
Have TDF, possibly other cycle races, London Olympics and others to keep us bleary eyed.:eek:

I would much rather be watching races at 12-1am after a hard days work, rather than miss them because im at school/work or see the1 or 2 days of summer go by outside of my window as i am watching a tdf mountain stage.

saying it was butchered would be an euphemism. it was a mix of random spanish words with a couple of half italian sentences and english.

also seems like the machado hype express can departure once again to another season of failures
Come on I don't think Machado is hyped. Well maybe before the Giro I remember some talk about top10 and top5 but generally he's just talked by the portuguese since he's one of the few portuguese out there :)

Wasn't talking to you, but El Pee.
I try to give you a wide berth, as I know I upset you so.

On the subject of trolling, what do you call all your baiting of the Dutch?

Once again, you show you are happy to dish it out in bucketloads, but can't stand even the slightest bit of leg pulling in your own direction.

Any idea why Rabobank gave up on Rohan Dennis?

you mean that he is not on their continental team anymore?
maybe he gave up on them, maybe he wants to be in Oz for better chance of olympics place.
Maybe Rabo will bring him to World Tour in August.

For some reason I thought they let him go after the last season, but looking some more into it, I think I'm actually wrong on this. Can someone confirm?

Rabo tested him, and found out his VO2max is through the roof... unfortunately he showed it nowhere on the road last year. He chose to return to Jayco to better prepare for the Olympics, but Rabo said they would remain interested if he got some results. Which I guess he did now

But if he doesn't go to Greenedge, I don't know who will.

OK, thanks for the thorough explanation. So he's not under any contract obligation to Rabobank as of right now, correct?

No, two year contract but was terminated after one year.

I guess the point Pistolero made in his comment stays valid then :D
Don't know what he said (no doubt something about Rabo suckage) but in Kelderman and Marc Goos they have two similar talents who are probably more interesting for the orange armada. And who showed much more last year.

But maybe Rohan Dennis has just been used to work on the front, who knows. In that case they're utterly stupid, yes.

Don't mind the youngest, he'll find excuse after excuse for when Rabobank does something silly during a race or just in general. Apparantly only he and other Dutch people are allowed to criticize Rabobank and all other people only criticize Rabobank because they hate Dutch people(lol).

I bet Rabobank didn't even fail on stage 5, it wasn't their fault I guess

He's already looking for excuses I see. Lol.

I don't mind any poster here, not even ACF. Everyone brings something to the forum, even if its unexplainable manlove or what not.

/begin :D:p/

And I think I can agree with the Dutchies on being the only ones allowed to criticize their home team, I mean I can bash Katusha for having an ugly kit this year, or losing their two best young talents and their best one day racer this year, but when someone else criticizes them, or says "I hate Katusha"

As long as he does this well I'm happy.

Now hopefully Peter Sagan has a cracker this season as well

with his calender if he is in good shape he can actually win a couple of 1 week stage races

17-22 Janeiro- Tour Down Under

15-19 Fevereiro- Volta ao Algarve

19-25 Março- Vuelta Catalunya

11- 15 Abril- Vuelta a Castilla Y Leon

23- 29 Abril- Tour Romandie

13- 20 Maio- California

if contador isn't racing algarve he should be considered one of the favourites to win there and i sure he will be in the top 10 in castilla y leon, catalunya and romandie if not better. in cali he will prolly be a domestic for horner tho but only time will tell.

You can bash them for that but... their kit is quite nice, no? And their best one day racer (at least in the last two years) is Rodriguez :p

If Pistrollero joins the discussion about Rohan Dennis by saying "that's because Rabobank sucks", is he "criticizing" or trolling? You choose.

I hate Katusha because they treat their cyclists with no respect. I don't think I need to tell you how disgustive it is what Tchmil has done with Ivanov, I guess? Or with Leif Hoste... Plus for all the money they have to spend they kinda fail... I like Menchov, so it's nothing to do with being Russian :p

I didn't like their all-Russian team at the Tour either, was also a mega flop.

Those who can best criticize a team are often those who're not related to the country behind the team(if it's a semi-national team at least).

Reading between the lines, all i get is:

"I hate Katusha....for.... being Russian :p
I didn't like...Russian .... either"

So yep, a russophobe you are :D

I meant their best Russian one day racer.
I mean the bottom line - the point of the team is supposed to be development of Russian cycling talent.

Pardon my ignorance but... which Russian one day racer do you mean? Can't think of one TBH (don't shoot!)
