This must be the only race in the world where a race's feed zone is sponsored and is called a 'Hydration Station'.

That is because the sponsor is Powerade I think.

Anyway, if I were BMC I wouldn't chase this break so hard. GreenEdge, Movistar and Rabobank all need the time bonues to win this and BMC could let these guys go up the road and take the time bonuses.

I demand to see kangaroos by the roadside.

I'm sure Marcus Burghardt is hoping there's no kangaroos or dogs by the roadside.... No koalas either... Too cute to run over

They are barely chasing the break at all, the gap is up to 8 minutes

You wont get many around this area. Stage 2 would have been your best chance to see one.

I don't trust that radio broadcasting team to do a good job describing them.

Go Miyazawa.

I demand camels in Australia.

I saw three emus while riding on Sunday. If we can have emus in America then there should be camels in Australia.

The Kangaroos are all resting in the shade under trees - only stupid professional cyclists are out in the sun at this point of the day

I am actually wondering if Paul sherwin has been reading the forum ...

In the giro photos thread there is a picture of the "legalize my cannon dale" kit worn a few years ago and an explanation ....

And today
He commented as a filler at one point about the weight of frames and brought up the cannot dale frame where they made a super light frame and added weights to make it legal

Easy solution: plant trees along the road.

Does the winner get a kangeroo or a crocodile?

You got me. I'm Paul Sherwin.

Even you say intelligent things occasionally ... know at least something about cycling .... And have a sense of humor too

Unlike Philor Paul. :p

First time ive seen the kits on the road.

Saxo looks even better on the road than in the pictures.
Greenedge is seriously fugly
and garmin, looked really good in the pictures, but on the road seems to have lost something. not nearly as good onscreen as it is in pictures

At least this year there isn't 3 teams that look exactly identical, unless the camera is like 2 feet away, especially on a choppy stream

Saxo looks good from above and the back. Not so great from the front when riders are standing around.

Greenedge is seriously fugly

GreenEdge looks just like all the pics that were floating around and getting panned except they added some black.
