saying it was butchered would be an euphemism. it was a mix of random spanish words with a couple of half italian sentences and english.

also seems like the machado hype express can departure once again to another season of failures :cool:

He's on a Luxemburg team. Jan Bakelants is a Luxi. Tiago was bird dog bait.

P & P seem to forget there's a guy called Andre who might contest the sprint tomorrow, not sure Piti and Gerrans are quite in that league.

bakelants is Belgium and machado isn't bait he is just very aggressive so he never attacks at the right time but rather at the first chance he sees. he was caught by the group and still finished ahead of every that was still "fresh" from sitting on the peloton and only 2 secs behind piti and gerrans

gt count will look like this;
valv 2
evans 1

In Paul's defence (why?) he did correct himself after he called it a GT.

It did seem a very smart move for a long time... it was only because of Javi Moreno that they were brought back. Rogers couldn't catch them.

common you can't say you weren't at least a bit touched by valverde's post race interview.
No I wasn't remotely. He has taken the victim status the whole time about his ban. He doped. He got caught and now he he has a teary about it. I don't feel remotely touched by the whole situation.

I am sorry but that is the way I feel.

It was a nice ride by him.

Well if Evans can be screwed over by a wheel change in Spain then I think we can screw over Vlaverde and giver jersey to Gerrans.;)

If GE don't send out a break to eat up the time, I expect EBH and Matthews to mop those up in an attempt to jump a spot or two on GC

So, what is the World Tour points difference between first and second overall. More importantly, what is the $value of the difference between first and second...

EBH will save himself to try for the stage win. He is too good to worry about minor places at Tour down under
