Not surprised there were loads of Stack ups. Tanking a Fired up Large Peloton down those Kind of Narrow UK lanes was asking for trouble.. Looked like the whole GB team was taken out in one Go...

Definitely more than that but can't recall. I reckon he was touched from behind but difficult to see.

Do different rules apply here, 3km becomes just the final km for crashes.

For those of you asking, yes the 3-kilometre rule does apply & has been applied to results, so same time for those caught up by crash

Crazy roads and crazy stage. But i enjoyed it. Really a fan of the british landscapes and it was good support out there from the crowds. No matter what you think of Sky but their success generates a back-to-back effect on the british cycling which is good.

Did anyone saw what caught up with Cav? No slow mo from other then up front and from there i could only catch him hitting the floor. He acted like a true primadonna afterwards so it couldnt be him creating the crash.

He hasn't been moaning about anybody on twitter yet, so there's a good chance it was his own fault.

I thought he caught some loose stuff on that corner, but the way he was giving the look to Farrar I am not sure.

Crash+stare at Farrar=Default setting

:D I did think that :D

I was pleased to see how some of the GB lads did today, especially Josh Edmondson who comes from around the corner from me and is based in Italy with Colpack.

That was what i initially thought too, which makes his behavior on the deck even more pathetic: "You guys shouldnt even be there, i own this phecking road."

No word from Cav yet on what happened?

Looked very much like his fault from what I saw on TV.

Farrar seems to have spent more time on the ground this year than anyone else.

He has been very unlucky this season, no doubt about that. It's hard to build up any form whe you are eating tarmac every other day. His confidence must be shot.

60kms to go. All the climbs out of the way, Pablo Urtasun gets the climbers jersey.
Bunch as just over a minute and a half. No prizes for guessing this will end in a sprint.

Sky crash at the front on yet another very narrow road.

cavendish completly blew that one...

perfect lead out and he messed it up
Lol that was awful, what on earth was he thinking? He had a perfect leadout by Rowe and suddenly decided it was too early (or something) so he let like 14 guys pass him before he started sprinting from far behind...

I actually thought it was an attempt to let Rowe go for the win again for the overall, but it was just bonkers. Rowe certainly got very confused when he pulled off and couldn't see cav.
