Sky screwing up their chances of winning the GC in ToB by relying on a sprinter who can't climb? What a surprise! :p

Did Luke Rowe get dropped?

Hilarious that Wiggins waited for Cav. Sky has done that very mistake 3 years in a row now, thinking that a sprinter can win this race. Perhaps they should check what kind of riders have won this race the last couple of editions...almost all of them are puncheurs.

JTL will take 10 mins over the field now.

Do you have a Portuguese brother?

Cav gives the race it's sh*t small stamp of disapproval.
Wiggins turning around to "fetch" him, the ultimate embarrassment.
El P can have a field day......

Rowe might have come back with that slight regroup, but I'm not sure.

Pretty shocking that a British team with British riders seems to forget, every year, how hard the roads are!

Cav should know, its these climbs where he famously used to cry on the BC academy rides!:)

I for one enjoy watching JTL, but this "god" people are banding about is just daft.

Dropping Samu, yeh, Samu is a great climber but hes had a poor season with injuries!

Come on people, lets get a grip. Its Gun Hill, not Vontoux!

It didn't look particularly fast, either. I mean, they seemed to be going slower up that 7% slope than Rodriguez can ride at 20% :p

Right so let me get this straight, Cav got dropped and Wiggo instead of doing the obvious thing and carry on riding for Luke Rowe (He has the biggest Sky chance of claiming gold who i actually fussed about the race perhaps ?) actually turned round and rode BACKWARDS to go and try and tow Cav back to the race

Just because someone is leading the GC through stages that have all ended in sprints does not neccesarily make them a GC contender when you hit either climbs or ITTs (Which is where GC is almost always decided unless the whole course is too easy) ....

I mean if thats true then I wouldn't be grateful if I was Cav, to be dropped is expectedin a hilly stage if you are a sprinter, but to have someone go backwards for you is terribly humiliating

Think you'll find a lot of it is tongue in cheek.;)

Hes going to stay away, the chasing group has far too much laziness in it

Edit: How can he be 12'48 back on GC and then ride a stage like this ??
