Isn,t it great having live cycling at this time. Wife just off to bed and beer just opened. Beats surreptitious watching in work.

Sagan, done for the day, unless he keeps getting mechanical help and bottle tows.....

Errr, he's already back in the bunch.
Rabo should ride up the left hand side of the road, everybody else, on the right.

Did you see the expression on that Bissel rider's face when he was passed by Sagan:D.

There is no way Sagan wont make it back, if Nibali is ill then I would consider Sagan a better contender than TJVG.

Look his is back already.

Overall, I'd say that Sagan and Liquigas are pretty happy that Garmin have been climbing fast enough on the first two stages to get rid of the out and out sprinters, because they aren't going to ride so hard that they put Haussler in trouble.

The thing is, if they aren't going fast enough to drop Haussler, they're never going to be going fast enough to put Sagan in any difficulty. It's a free ride for Liquigas.

god these announcers need to retire.. so daft! "geniez got away in the break because he wasn't much of a threat to the GC, being way way down at 34 seconds behind the yellow jersey"

Yeah, at first I thought the guy was being sarcastic when he said that. Apparently not.

Cant see Vennell and White surviving much longer and then how long will it be until other riders attack from the peloton?

Garmin tactics are pretty obvious: 1)Keep the race together until TT, 2)take time out of all the other GC riders at TT, 3)keep the race together again on MT Baldy.

They have really been assisted by Leipheimer's seeming "lack" of fitness, as otherwise such a tactic wouldnt have worked.
