Peloton is 3:08 back. BMC doing well here, Garmin sucking a bit. But with Hesjedal in pink they're excused.

Actually van Garderen (the name) is as dutch as it can get. (all Van names are actually dutch or belgian). His stepdad is dutch i think?

Horner could suffer big on the final climb to Baldy plus the road out of baldy village has a false flat section that favors the chasers. The smaller chase group actually helps. It is filled with good riders who can work well in the twisted bumps of the backside
