Kwibus said:Seriously... What's wrong with that tweet?
He said he messed up which pretty much means the same as that he sucked.
He ends with congratulating the winner.
No matter what he would've said some people here would've burned him down anyways.

Andy99 said:Ha! Accept my humble apologies.
Just get so used to the blind hatred on here, such that it's not often easy to spot.

El Pistolero said:Not this tweet in particular, I have never seen him say he got beaten because he wasn't the best. That's the problem I have with him. Even when Greipel kicked his *** in stage 10 of the Tour this year he made up a stupid excuse.
So what if he congratulates the winner? If a person says "no offence, but..." it will be followed by something rude that's meant to be offensive. Same goes for Cav and congratulating someone that beats him. There's always the but...
Waterloo Sunrise said:So if Usain Bolt loses, he should explain that he's not the best sprinter, rather than talk about which bit of the race he got wrong? If he does the later, even whilst congratulating the winner, he's clearly a prat.
Right, got it...
The Hitch said:I said this last year but i love the "about Oman" 3 minute segments they do every stage. more races should do it.

I mean, is it like the RvV with loads of short steep climbs and the likes of Boonen and Farrar and Cancellara should figure, or is it more a mountain climbers day with the likes of Nibali, Rodriguez and Fuglsang?
Right, he didn't care about winning emphatically in QatarDekker_Tifosi said:Last year Cavendish wasn't good in Oman either. He lost to Theo Bos, wasn't even placed well in the others. Bos won 2 sprints and Goss 1. Still Cavendish was good at the Tour + world ch.
I don't think sprinters care much at this point
will10 said:The only fact that actually matters is that it's February 16th.
Lol. We'll see. I'm pretty sure when it comes to the big races Cavendish will win the most of all sprinters, again.cineteq said:Right, he didn't care about winning emphatically in Qatar
Face it, he's not the best sprinter anymore.
ferryman said:You are correct in the sense that Cavendish no doubt has his eyes on the bigger prizes. Interesting though that riders like Kittel, Sagan and Greipel can be competitive from day one. It is the very thing Schleck gets crucified for on here.

God, not this again... even Wiggins looks fat like that. It's called abdominal breathing, and very healthy for a sportsman. Also, it shows quite clearly in an unflattering white jersey.Thomsena said:I think he did more than enough to win 2 stages in Qatar with this belly going on.. It looks like he's been eating Alex Rasmussen...
