Actually when I went to Algarve in 2004 the guide book said that Portugese will sound slavic.

We were all like lol, and then during are time there we kept thinking everyone was talking Polish:eek:

Good sprint by EBH, although the sprinting field is quite weak here. At least EBH understood today that he might as well start his sprint early as he can hold it quite long anyway. Positively surprised that he could position himself so well without much help :)

Also surprised by Garmin's no-showing...

The commie's car almost put Boeckamns into a wall. Pulled in to park, cut him up and managed to hit the car infront!
No wonder he chucked his bike into their rear.
Damage both ends.

I'm with you. Having watched Portuguese soap operas in cheap hotels in various places it also seems much more prominent on TV than face to face

Nordhaug to destroy everybody, with Froome and EBH alongside him :p

Martin had a knee injury during the off-season and is having a slower build-up than last year. I still hope he'll win though, should be possible with this field.

EBH was originally not going for the GC, but might be giving it a try tomorrow since he has the leader's jersey. However, the Sky team is extremely strong so he might have to sacrifice himself for Wiggins or Froome (won't be the first time we see a leader's jersey sacrificed in Sky!). He already has 17s on Wiggins though...
