COntador attacked like 6 or 7 times, Anton attacked too. Something like 10 serious attacks in 7km, not bad.

People are overreacting for sure, but six attacks on a climb that isn't even 10km, from a rider everybody likes, after an extremely boring season = these type of reactions.

Nah. The stage Pinot won was miles better for a start. The stage everyone thought was flat in Pays Vasco was too, because the organizers sneakily parked a 15% climb near the end. There are more examples, but can't be bothered at the moment.

What? Those are some desperate examples. Maybe if you searched hard enough you could find some stgae from one of those French or italian races that was entertaining, but the 2 examples you give are nowehere near what we saw today.

Fantastic stage. Great racing from the top 4. Really surprised Valverde stayed up there. Bertie, Froome and JRod all looked good. Not sure why Bertie let Froome take 4seconds bonus though.
Should be a brilliant 3 weeks!
