Did I cry when he lost last year's Tour? No. I did cry when he got banned though, but that is something else.

Alberto would never cry because he loses a race. Lol.

How many Contador fangirls are here? You, hitch and who else?

What does could have mean? Give me an example of where he has. Anyone, even Cadel or Wiggins, can attack for a few hundred meters. Contador can do it for much longer and do it again and again and again.

But can he do it without the beef?

Confirmed members of the Alberto family:

Hitch
Angliru
Publicus
Red Rick
Carols
peloton
+ me

Parrulo is no longer part of it because he was mean to another family member and we (I) don't like that so we (I) have decided to kick him out (temporarily). We (I) might take him back if he's really nice from now on but since he is now a mod he should not count on it.

Just kidding :p ...partially

Alberto family :D

Hitch:
“There is no such thing as Evans fans or Schleck fans or whatever.

In this day and age there are only 2 types of cycling fans.

Those who like Contador, and those who don't. “

"Gang. Pfff. Dont insult The Great One.

Contador isn't a gang.

Its a family “

You have continued to bring up doping matters, whenever something about Contador is discussed in the road, sub forum.
There is a separate sub forum called the Clinic for doping discussions and there are many threads about Contador, so can comment there, on his doping related stuff.

Well I belong to the Alberto family :)

I am a fan of Many cyclists; Fabu, Sagan, Nibali, new addition Pinot, Vino the list could go on and on and even includes Tommy V. The list of retired racers
is extremely lengthy with Il Pirata and LeMond at the top.

But Alberto is simply the best stage racer alive and racing (ok racing in 15 days) on the Planet and that makes him the King! Win or lose he animates every race he enters, is poetry in motion on the bike, has an incredible attacking style, is humble and gracious, has an inner core of both physical and mental strength and knows how to suffer.

His only real shortcoming is some need to 'be liked' as expressed in his Stupid apology for chaingate. If Andy can't shift that isn't your problem Alberto, exploit your opponents weaknesses, it is the way of cycling and don't apologize for having done it.

Bring it on Alberto, I will be watching!

I like Bert too, although I've taken the p**s out of him a couple of times. Couple of captions and a look-a-like. And I commented that the Giro was better without it being put to bed after the first mountain stage. I tell you that's enough to be considered a hater by some. :D

How to become the King?!

You dethrone the king, you become the king!

Just that....AC never dethroned any king, he just manage to beat "the little Boss" and Bottle....:D

...and a soon to be ex-7 time Tour winner. That in and of itself makes him the King.

Just like Froome worked for Wiggins last Vuelta :)

In all seriousness though; Uran, and especially Henao, are great talents. I certainly see Henao outperforming Wiggo and Froome in the coming years; but he's stil young and his best GT result is 9th in the Giro. He has to up his game by a lot if he wants to pull a Froome on Froome coming Vuelta.

Are both Colombians even racing the Vuelta btw?
Uran is scheduled to, Henao not afaik.
