Demare.
First ever Ronde. And he finishes 24th. Ahead of many many much more experienced riders.

What a talent he is.

And what a trio French have got for future in sprints ( Demare - Bouhanni - Coquard )..

Totally agree with this.

“We went away in a break on the Oude Kwaremont, but then Cancellara went for it on the Paterberg and I wasn’t able to follow him,” Sagan conceded.

Did you notice how that girl prolonged the kiss on Cancellara's cheek, beyond what seem a natural time, far longer then the other girl? I think it may because she got shocked by the grasp on her behind part, and genuinely didn't know how to react. The wicked part of Sagan's move was also that she may perhaps have thought it was Cancellara who was doing the grabbing as she couldn't see it.
Pretty classeless behavior from Sagan. I don't condemn it as some sort of crime at all, but rather one of small indications of what type of young man you are.
That taken together with the t-shirt photos paint a not so pleasing picture of him. I was firmly on Sagan's side with regards to celebrations controversy and confilict with Cancellara. But now, the photos and 'the grab', also provide a new slightly negative perspective on the motivation behind the celebrations, and now for me Cancellara's critical remarks seem valid.

He would've loved it, but only as long as he would be the person doing the grabbing. But what would he think if the girl grabbed by Sagan was his daughter or sister? And why he of all the poeple, jens?

I think there are two ways of dealing with this type of behavior.
One way, is classifying it as an "assault" and "abuse", and condemning it legally.
This the new way, typical to Western societies, where feminism has much to say

There is the other, more traditional way, where we do away with all this talk of abuse, etc. and laugh it off as politically correct nonsense. But what some posters seem to forget is that it doesn't stop there, there is the other side of the coin. Although in this approach you are not penalized by the law for such behavior, you have every reason to expect to wake up next morning with your nose broken by the girl's boyfriend, husband, or if she does not have any, by her brother or father defending her honor. And you can't whine about it, or expect to be protected by law from it. Would Peter accepted such an outcome?

It seems say the same chick he grabbed flirted with him after the podium at Gent–Wevelgem :p

That would perhaps put Peter's behavior today in a slightly different light, although not justify it completely

It does matter though. There is a difference.

A girl wearing a short skirt walking around minding her own business with a stranger jumping out of nowhere and groping her is just as reprehensible an act as the same thing happening to a girl wearing jeans.

A cyclist grabbing a podium girl's buttocks is not quite as reprehensible an act as, say, a female sales manager getting her buttocks groped by the visiting manager of another company after a presentation.

Reprehensible it is (yes!). I'll try to be more clear: Sagan is to blame here. The girl is not. And I'll say more: if we want to keep things like this from happening, we'd be well-advised to stop the perpetuation of jobs that portray women as objects of lust.

Males are interested in females, and especially in the well-proportioned parts. This is a fact of life. I don't understand why this is such a big deal, probably part of the hypocrisy of modern day society where you aren't allowed to say **** on television but where 99% of (male) population looks at barely, if at all, dressed ladies behind their desktop pc.

Come on, Sagan made a joke, deal with it. All this stupid outrage for absolutely nothing.

actually you are protected by law, because that would be probably clasified as inadequate response to alleged sexual assualt, thats why you just cannot beat people if they offend you...if he was beating that girl, self defense would be appropriate, this was not the case tho

Maybe they will end up married with a family and we can look back on this as a special moment for the both of them.

I would say a model is more similar to a podium girl than it is to a hostess.

Like podium girls, they are there because of their attractiveness and they are there to be photographed and looked at, not to have any interraction with people.

Air hostesses are there for safety reasons first and foremost. It's only coincidence most are pretty ;)
