Here are my predictions for 2013.

Tour of Qatar.... Cav
Paris Nice.... Porte
Milan San Remo.... Moser
Flanders.... Thomas
Paris Roubaix.... Stannard
LBL... Quintana
Giro.... Wiggo
San Sebastian.... Gasparotto
Paris Tours.... Stannard
Beijing.... Tony Martin again (who else).

Please don't pester me for the winners of the TDF, Vuelta or the Tour of Denmark yet as I am yet to decide.

- Sky will have a horrible year. Particularly the british will underperform, with Wiggins dropping out of the Giro and Froome barely managing to get into the top 10 in the TDF. Their season will only somewhat be saved by Henao podiuming in the Vuelta, EBH winning AGR and Dombrowski winning Dauphine.

- Sagan doesn't win anything in the first half of the season and later admits that he's been partying and signing boobs instead of training. Comes back in form for worlds and wins the sprint for 2nd behind Cancellara who wins solo.

- Cancellara wins M-SR, RVV, P-R and Worlds RR.

Schleck to attack once in the Tour then proudly declare that he was the only person to attack all race.

You forgot the full line - Schleck to attack once, look behind him after 10 seconds and promptly give up:D

My prediction for 2013 Alberto to win this and I win cq game

Tour + 3 stage win 840
Giro + 3 stage win 710
Vuelta + 1 stage win 570
Lombardia 275
LBL 275
FW 220
Milano Torino 140
Giro dell Emilia 140
Worlds 400
Tirreno + 2 stage win 320
Pais Vasco + 1 stage win 280
Dauphiné + 2 stage win 320

And that is just wins

Sorry, I know you are Pistoleros number one fan, but I think the more likely prediction is that he tests positive again and/or Bjarnes past catches up and Saxobank folds mid season.

That's just why the thread's title isn't '2013 likely predictions' ;)

My predictions:
> total destruction of classics field by Boasson
> Rabobank returns to cycling halfway through the season
> Valverde will race in Italy, winning at least Worlds and Lombardia
> Cav doesn't get any sprint victory in the Tour, but wins a mountain stage in a break with Greipel
> Gilbert gets in better form than in 2011 and wins whatever B Hagen doesn't win
> OPQS get less than 50 victories
> Leipheimer, Danielson and Zabriskie have at least 5 victories each
> Cobo wins something
> Someone under the age of 21 will win a WT race or stage c.q. starting a new Moser/Sagan-like hype

> G Thomas to dominate on the cobbles
> Voigt, Horner and Rebellin to get in a breakaway together somewhere and have a good laugh about the past
> Lutsenko to not win a race
> TJVG totally fails to get a 2012 like season
> Kittel to win 75%+ bunch sprints at le Tour
> Cav to not whine after a sprint loss

Euskatel to win the TTT world championships.
Shleck to team up with Contador and teach Team Sky a lesson. Obliterate the Sky train with one attack and send the entire team into depression.

Ivan Basso, Jens Voigt, Michele Scarponi, Andreas Kloden, Chris Horner, Alessandro Petacchi, and Levi Leipheimer to band together and form a new cycling team. The P.O.P/OG cyling team, also know as the Past Our Prime/ Old Guys Team. Then proceed to win each classic, all 3 GT's, and all 3 worlds events.
