Christina Watches receive a shock invitation to the Tour de France which is led by Michael Rasmussen until the penultimate stage when he is disqualified for a new kind of blood doping involving injecting the blood of a chicken.

A Sky or Garmin rider, albeit not a big name test positive, provoking Astana directeur Vinokourov to slate Brailsford/Vaughters publicly over how their teams are run and threaten to join a breakaway league run by guru of clean cycling Tyler Hamilton.

And possibly the most unlikely of all, Euskaltel become a sprint/classics superteam with their new foreigners ripping up the sprints and a reformed Igor Anton winning Paris-Roubaix, causing Mark Cavendish to beg for a spot on the team for 2014 citing broken promises at Omega.

Bold predictions...some predictions are not really that bold..

Let me try some BOLD predictions:
-Quintana to podium a GT
-Van Avermaet wins the Amstel Gold Race
-'team former Rabobank' to finish 1st at the World Tour ranking

Those are not really that bold. You can see Quitnana podiuming a GT, Vuleta or Giro.
GVA with some luck can win Amstel.

The last one is the boldest one, but if they pull it together and focus, wchich they should as some might fight for contracts and such - they have an all - round team to be in contention at least.

My prediction - Cav not to win any stage at the Tour. That's bold :p

Start out easy. Simon Gerrans to win the TdU. If he doesn't, then another Greenedge rider will. The win will be dedicated to Matt White.

i'd like it
maybe a top 5 is a bit more realistic
his TT skills could go well in the Nice TTT at the Tour (he is maybe a bit young and must support Ryder at the Tour)
or he can be on form for Romandie+Giro

That's why it's bold..

The winner of Milan-San Remo to be someone who did well at the Tour Down Under, either who won a bunch of sprints or won the overall.

Greipel to race other races than small crap sprinter races and the Tour, and actually go for the win in them.

Mario Cipollini to make his long awaited comeback to cycling and go head to head with Mark Cavendish and finally settle the question, who is the greatest sprinter in history.

Tylar Farrar to win a classic
