You might be right actually, but it's a long shot, since Moser kind of vanished since SB. For Moser to win, SB would have to repeat, including the tactics. I don't think Sagan will work for Moser if the come together in the front group under the last climb. Unleashing Moser there is a little risky move, whereas betting on sagan is like 90% of winning and 98% of podium. The only case I can see Moser winning on last hill is that Sagan and Moser are first and second on the flat and Sagan leaves the win for Moser.

well, if Moser will grow to the expectation, they will have to split the wins eventually, or one of them will have to go. And if that is happening, than it will not be only on the actual "winning" value, but also in the fact that Moser is italian, so it would be tough choice for the management. The time is not there yet, so we might look forward to seeing, which cards will Cannondale be playing tomorrow. But with nobody wanting to cooperate and Moser not going with Voeckler, we might see some "faces" again this year.

Peter Sagan has to win Amstel. I believe nothing else matters more for him and for his team right now. Brabantse Pijl is just a warm-up race for him. Moser on the other side will probably be Cannondale's leader for post Amstel Classics (they're not on Sagan's plan) and this race can serve as a test.

That's not a problem right now. Moser is a fine talent, but Sagan is a once in a generation rider. There's no question that if the race demands it, Moser should be riding completely in service of Sagan. Maybe Moser will rise to the level where he can claim the lead for himself, but at this point it isn't really in question.

I totally agree with you, actually you have said the same as I did, just in other words.

On the other hand, cannondale has to put Moser off a leash from time to time to motivate him and also to find out, what he's capable of. He clearly won't be satisfied with position of a superdomestic, according to some of his statements.

Might it void only Sagan's contract or anyone's on the Cannodale team? Nevertheless, I hope Sagan won't get greedy if it's so and doesn't sign some big contract with some impotent team. And also cannondale won't be also that stupid to underpay it's golden duck. Currently, if someone else doesn't start scoring UCI points, they might loose world tour license with so little points.
If someone, than Moser could be more motivated to change the team if he's not satisfied with the space he's getting in Cannondale.

Saw the race for the first time last year, was a good distraction instead of finishing a presentation that time and i have to say i like the race.

but is this a race more that suits more to tour of flanders and roubaix guys, or are the uphill sectors to long for them and its more favorable for the ardennes and amstel gold races riders ?
