12:11 - 40 seconds at km 55

Edvald Boasson Hagen (SKY) and Arthur Vichot (FDJ) have tried to bridge the gap but they’ve been reined in. Bazayev, Huzarski and Flecha have 40 seconds lead at km 55 while many riders stop at the back of the peloton to answer the call of the nature.

Good that sky let EBH have a go, could it have been a signal to the peleton that this was the end of the period of sky keeping the peleton together?

it's only 2 minutes, maybe europcar, maybe they'll do something on the barioz
