Apparently he'll face Porte at Pais Vasco. Porte will be pretty hard to beat in this form and that time trial, assuming it's the same one as last year, suits him very well.

From what I can see from CQ, a mixed bag. There are some good showings (10th San Sebastián 2010, 8th to Vejle in the Danmark Rundt, the win on Malhão last year) but there are also some days where he's clearly not in the mix at all. The only time he entered País Vasco was 2011, which isn't really indicative of where he's at at the moment. This isn't going to be an easy race to control, for sure, so even if his greater strength lies in the TT, he's going to need to work hard to be able to ride the TT for the GC win.

His performance in Paris-Nice and today would make Rodriguez proud. But those were long sprints after long climbs.

lol, a bit too much baby fat on Porte back then. All gone now.

Froomey's style is just awful. But his physical ability is astonishing if he can accelerate whenever he wants just out of spite... Like he did today after the discussion with Peraud. He's shown a new quality, as well. Today's attack differs from those we've seen so far this season.

He did a great ride, but considering the level of his opponents and Porte marking all other attacks it wasn't a surprise he had such a gap in the end.

Ask Peraud to work with him, Peraud said NO. Froom said " f..k you, I am gone. I don't need you any way, just want to use you as a disguise in the first place"
