It now looks to be a two horse race (but what do I know? I was on the point of declaring Cyival as winner a week ago.)

Mellow Velo and Tuarts share five riders, whether Tuarts can gain the 40 points he needs depends on whether Trofimov, Felline, Pantano and Cobo (I assume he must be a sprinter: he has finished in the broom wagon every day) can gain sufficiently on Modolo, Durasek and Pirazzi. If forced to predict, I'd say that Modolo will gain enough on Sunday to keep Mellow Velo safe.

Manafana, in 13th place, deserves a special mention. He is the only non-Nibalista in the top 27, and more than 300 points ahead of anyone else to have forsaken Lo Squalo.

Already last year, the only update of the main CQ game in which I was first was the one after the TDF, not Evans' finest hour (though he was sick so his underforming is of course rather understandable). Hopefully in the future I will feature in CQ games even when Evans doesn't have a bad day.
I wonder has anyone score more in a single stage in a GT CQ game before. I certainly can't remember anyone doing so in this Giro.

Nobody has picked Di Luca, but every team bar one would gain points from the redistribution of points if we assume that he loses the points he has from stages. (eg he came 10th in the MTT, earning 1 point: should that point now go to Petrov, who came 11th?)

So could anyone confirm:
a) Do CQ actually do stage point redistribution like this?
b) How long do they normally take to do it?
c) Do they redistribute points from Team time trials?
d) Are the rest of Di Luca's teammates punished by loss of TTT points?

(questions b-d are obviously moot if the answer to a in "No", and likewise d is redundant if c is a "no")

If the answer to a is yes, but the answer to b is anything more than a couple of days, then we need to decide whether to reallocate or not before the game finishes: Votes and thoughts please.

I've already calculated them: I was only checking whether CQ goes to that level of detail in reallocating points.

It is now v little hassle (add 1 column to a spreadsheet SUM(a1:d1) code), and the difference is 20 points from top to bottom of the list of beneficiaries.
