My guess hes part of the train. If things turn bad for Sir Wiggo (can't see why) Henao is likely to get a free role.

Both climbs are total beats and in fact the steeper part of the last climb is a bit over 20%!!!!

Take a look at those legs!
It's quite easy to see that he could lose weight...

Sky and Wiggans to set a relentless pace up the final climb as usual... who can hang on?? -- oh for sure sky will blow-up everyone! Especially since it's sunny! BMC, Astana, Lampre, Garmin should start regretting not putting a nail in the coffin when they can on stage 9. Get ready for the show of brit bullet choo-choo train kickin' people assre of the their wagon.
Nibali looked good on the step stuff at Trentino so I dont see him being dropped. -- Nibali might be in trouble with the colombian siamese twin attacked.
Evans... who knows, could be anything. No real form coming in, but in the first week of this race I would argue that he looks better than any of the other GC contenders, but the hills start here. Nibali won't want him to be around at the end as Evans is likely to get bonus seconds in GC sprint. Can he hang on to the Sky train? We will know soon. -- stage 10, we will know exactly how evans form is. I think he'll be loosing some time. But I hope he proves me wrong. *finger crossed, thumb toe crossed too.*
Gesink and Scarponi look very good but I feel that the 3 riders mentioned above have their measure, with the possible exception of Evans. -- Scarponi and Gesink will be gap for breath I guess. I don't know if scarponi has any experience trying to hang on a brutal sky choo-choo train yet. It might a shock to his system. They both, might be loose some time here.
I can't see Ryder getting back into it but would be happy to be wrong. -- he is the dark horse to me. He might do something, but his back to back under perfom doesn't convince me that he is in a good form. Unless, he is like what people said, have a great recovery. If he did, he might try something on the descent..But don't think he'll getting back 2 minutes or something. He needs to get over Henao first before he can dream to leapfrog wiggins.
And finally, what a great first week's racing! I have loved every minute of it so far and can't wait to see what happens next. -- +2. Me too. It's been unpredictable. I thought for sure wiggins is going to get the pink by 3 minutes ahead after TT. Well, the rain apparently has a say of who should wear pink this time. Long live mother nature![]()

I think Gesink, Pozzovivo and Betancour will all be prominent, as well as Scarponi. This is where we see who has the legs.

That's going to kill Wiggins.
Pippo_San said:Very luckly for Sky and the Knight tomorrow will be sunny...never been there, but considering the way the road develop in the middle of woods, and how the last few days it's been quite wet, it's possible the road won't be very dry.
That descent looks tricky to say the least! I don't think the GC guys will take impossible risks there tho, the Giro is still very very long.
I'm expecting a RaboBlancoFail in form of a crash or somethingD), a big comeback from Ryder and a fugitive that poses no threat to GC to win.
