After two nasty days in the Alps, the GC teams will let the lesser contenders play - Di Luca and such. Tuesday will be a recovery/rest day and Wed will be nervous until the sprinters' teams take over. The top ten are far more focused on Friday and Saturday's stages.

Not to say that I dont think tomorrow wont be interesting...

...just not decisive.

Lot of people have been saying Di Luca will win a stage. From what so far I have seen he just does not seem to have the legs to hold on. There are far too many attacking young guys.

Did you guys see the ease with which Betancur went ahead of Niemiec and Majka at Galibier finish? The guy has some legs this Giro. Yes he has been messing the timing of his attacks. So I guess he wont win the stage again lol...

Another under-rated and under-credited rider this Giro has been Kiserlovski. Its a pity the guy has got almost zilch support from his team in this race. Very weak team from Radioshack in this Giro. Baring the ITT where he lost 5 minutes to Nibali - he has just lost 1:18 to Nibs. That says a lot when you are completely on your own almost through the race. He has actually worked his way up from 15th to 11th in the GC.

Is it crazy for a Sky to send a break with Henao and some others? Would a war of attrition with Astana be good for them?

Henao will be left till mountain stages, he's still to fully recover from the sickness he got in 2nd week as well.

Yeah he has no support at all. Bennett is a good climber but a rookie and cannot perform in bad weather because he is so tiny. That is all the mountain support Kiserlovski has. I remember in the early stages Machado and Oliveira were able to stay with him for a long time but those were just the hilly stages.
But even without any support he consistently arrives in the favourites group or very close to them. I think he was even 25th after the ITT and has come back to 11th now. He consistently gains time on Intxausti and should be able to pass him, and has been gaining time on Pozzovivo and Majka too. Unfortunately the second ITT will probably get him out of the Top-10 again unless he gains serious time at one point

Am somehow confident Kiserlovski will break in the Top 10. He has been riding relentlessly strong. Always up there with the best. Heck had he had a good ITT he would have been in Top 5. Pity!
