For a long time it was impossible for me to not get Caruso, Capecchi and Cataldo confused. I still sort of get them all mixed together when I try to think of what each of them is capable of (it doesn't help that they're all similar riders).

At least they all ride on different teams this year.

According to my calculations, Caruso's time brings the cutoff down to 59:10 which would knock out Maxim Belkov.

He is about 20s inside in atm but wil be outside by the end along with belletti I'd think.

That's even ignoring that there are two Caruso's. :D

LIVE??? coverage by Daniel Benson

Is he really on site?
I sort of doubt it: no info whatsoever on weather conditions at the start, on the course, at the finish.
How about temperature, wind and other such considerations? Total darkness.

I can't speak/understand Italian so don't know

Nothing special. He didn't want to go full gas but his intermediate was good and he was feeling very well so he pushed it in the second half.

Nibs in full pink

The crowd counting Nibali down, i bet this giro is doing wonders to his popularity in italy.
