I;m forced to watch sky here(tour of belgium) but my god the viewers there asking questions to the just as idiotic announcer is baffling and painful.

True, but he wouldn't have known that might be the case until a couple of days ago by which time it was too late to change the plan.

obviously they will do other climbs then if they cancel them. which I doubt, even if it snows. remember 1989

Not sure if mentioned before but Belletti had a mechanical and waited 8 minutes before having it fixed. That's why his time was so bad.
