WIthout a mechanical and having to change bike on top of that, I would think betancur may have been closer to Nibs today.

I think so too. He looked spent in the end, couldn't even sprint to the finish.

Cav gets his points jersey back tomorrow. Apt finish for the race. The dominant sprinter and the dominant GC rider win last two stages.

Samuel Sanchez dropped out. He didnt have the legs, as usual after rest days. He lost 6:22 total to Nibali on 2 stages after rest days. Just dont know why the **** would he make his team work all day long and make the race harder for him if he sucks so much after rest days for years.

Ah yes Samu was #10...getting old too...

another show of dominace by nibali, a fit wiggins wouldnt have lived with this climb or the way nibali has raced.

Betancur also mighty impressive given his bad luck.

Cav deserves the red jersey. The few stages he could win he won.
Besides my love for the guy is only growing. Finishing the giro when he doesnt have too and he seems to be climbing pretty good as well last days.

Ps nice wheely by Blythe when crossing the finish :)

Nibali actually got less time than I thought he would.

But it's a steep climb. Not really Wiggins-friendly on any day.
