anyone has an idea where kiserlovski was?

I wonder that too, there was a Radioshack rider in the first group but I think it was Machado /edit: It was Kiserlovski after all, good for him!

Blanco have managed to let all three of their GC riders crash on the first significant stage. How do they do it?

Strong recovery by Gesink though.

Gesink didn't really crash, he barely went down .

What happened to kelderman ?

Entertaining stage today. Hopefully there will be lots of action between the GC riders tomorrow too.

Hesjedal looks strong. He attacked like 4 times

Good man , gesink has taught him well.

Sorry but Kelderman at youth level crashed more than Gesink. Kelderman is the master. Gesink is merely a pupil compared to Kelderman in this art

He crashed 50kms from the finish but he was back with the peloton before the last climb.

RAI is saying Nibbles had a mechanical while sprinting. Not that it would have changed anything for his placement anyway.

A Blanco rider crashes => LOOL, Rabofail, Funny, :D :p

Someone else crashes => sand on the road, tried to avoid the Blanco rider, etc.

This is pathetic.

Loosen up ffs.

Rabo living up to their hard-earned reputation for being horrible descenders and bike-handlers in a crash without serious consequences is absolutely hilarious, that's why we laugh.

Jesus christ Machado is such a joke of a rider. Finished 2 minutes down!!! I don't know why i even bother searching for his results anymore.

Isn't there is someone here rooting for him in every opportunity he got:D

I think a few guys on here are underestimating how high the pace was on that descent. Agnoli was clearly put up the road for Nibali to try to bridge to him later. As it was the opportunity never really presented itself on the technical half of the descent because Hesjedal was drilling it. If it had split there then perhaps Nibali would've contributed.

Nibali has to take every opportunity he can. But, not at the expense of expending too much energy for no gain. Remember Hesjedal has killed himself today for 8 bonus seconds.
