The Killer took bonus seconds off his own team mate and Vini ****ed up massively.

but breaking on the finish line, he could have crashed
but yeah i guess the situation at vini fantini is not calm

I doubt it, he fell on his right side, and his right elbow was bleeding. There was something flapping around near his left knee, but I don't know if it was from the crash (don't go making any insinuations again Hitch:p).

his jersery around left knee was into pierces

This stage delivered. Attacks, crashes, rain, drama. Giro. The exciting thing is that now with Wiggins a bit behind, the battle for GC win is wide open.

that is the main point, he did not seem up there compared to the other heads of state BEFORE he crashed

No... We are not going to call them that... ;)

Things looking promising for Evans. He was looking very strong on that final climb when leading the peloton up it.:)

Time trial is a massive unknown for Cadel. I am not optimistic.

Agreed. Its a shame, as he's in such a good position and with no pressure. I think he'll lose quite a bit to ryder & nibali

Obviously the right call since the Columbians did some good damage limitation on the flat to the finish.

Yeah and the way he was riding before he joined them he would probably have lost 3+ minutes...again I can understand being scared after a fall, but it looked like he was about to give up completely, hope DB gives him a good shake out tomorrow, it's really not very professional.

Thanks. I must admit that I am really enjoying being back on here after my month away from here.

Do the Dutch know if Gesink is time trialling well or not?
No idea, he said he regarded the Romandie TT as a rest day, and there he lost just 20 seconds to most GC riders. Gesink tends to TT very well in recent years, so we'll see.

Yeah, Intxausti was 6th when he got sick last year. Definitely a dangerous opponent now.

I think it's pretty much criminal to not let Uran follow the main contenders when Wiggins crashed/was scared/was horrible. I don't know if he, Uran, was at the front and was told to wait but if he was, it's a horrible decision in my opinion. And one Sky will regret when/if Wiggins pulls out.

I'm no Wiggins fan, but I think a lot of us look @ the time wiggins won over Nibali by in the tour last year, consider his alledged climbing improvements, and think that it's possible he could have several minutes on Nibali by the end. In this case, a 1:30 loss is important, but does not spell the end. I think if Wiggins isn't hurt, and still is determined to get the result here, it's still wide open between the top 3 favorites.

His head is gone.

Compare him to Contador at the 2011 Tour. Contador crashed, lost time behind crashes but kept riding like a champion. Wiggins looks like he's just waiting for someone to hand him the title. It's almost Shleck like.

Will you reach the 20 in time for the Tour?

today they could have destroyed wiggins. 5 minutes at least
for the most time they were cowards

Wow that's pretty harsh

Also incredibly unrealistic

I doubt it. I am going to be away from Monday next week as I am heading interstate but will be watching as much of the Giro as possible.

Very good stage. Really well action packed. Sky and Vini biggest fails. Nibali a little fail as well. Benat gets the maglia rosa out of blue. Cadel, Hesjedal good GC ride. Kiserlovski excellent. Great win by Hansen. Bring on the mountains.

I will be honest here. I am starting to doubt Nibali's shape, i got that feeling particularly from stage 3. And today after the crash he looked to be in serious trouble.

Really not surprising this is just Wiggo's attitude.

Dave will probably give him a talking too at dinner and he should be focused for tommorow's TT providing he hasn't damaged himself.

I think when it comes to his motivation for the giro wiggo still doesn't understand the Tour is not his to lead, or he thinks he can still win without full support from the team.
