Visconti was about 150th in today, so bearing in mind he's leading the GPM, is no GC threat and can get over small-to-medium sized hills, I see him trying to get into the break tomorrow, and if the breakaway is allowed to take it by minutes and the big guns race comparatively conservatively, he has a chance from a small group.

Nibali and others will do nothing because there's a 55km tt tomorrow and they need all the strength to limit damage to wiggins in the itt

that would be so stupid and I really doubt it too. better to hurt wiggins tomorrow big time, so he will be more tired for the itt as well. beside sthey are going to lsoe in the itt anywya, betetr to take time here then

By the way, Sky could cause Nibs all sorts of hassle tomorrow by sending Uran or Henao up the road. The only risk would be Wiggins getting dropped during the chase (not likely). Nibali does not have an equivalent superdom at his disposal.

The prevailing wisdom here is that the big favourites will just race conservatively and watch each other with the ITT in mind but what happens if guys a min down on GC like Evans,Sanchez,Kiserlovski start attacking,Nibali panics,Hesjedal goes berserk again for no reason. This stage has infinite possibilities, could be an unexpected treat.

Believe he hurt himself a fair bit today in the crash.

sky hold all the cards for pretty much any parcours. Only crash/mechanical/illness can cause Wiggins problems in this race

BMC should make Evans do some major attacks times tomorrow, so that the gc guys have a big battle.

Well done if you can see where i am going with this.

If a 'lesser' GC threat attacks early (Evans, Sanchez, Kieserlovski, maybe even Hesjedal), then Sky could have Uran just sit on their wheel. He could then either be towed to a big lead, or act as a bridge for a Wiggins chase.

Not a likely tactic by Sky, but it would be nice to see them do something more creative than the train.

Since when did he got worse???
I don't know when he 'got' worse, but losing nearly two minutes at the Duaphine and six minutes in the penultimate stage of the last years tour isn't exactly good.

I heard visconti wasnt feeling to rich after his crash today do well to get through the rest of this week in one piece.

I will take any avatar at all if any of todays top3 is in the top 20 tommorow, their are some seriously steep pitches at the latter part of the racing.

Evan seems the only candidate of GC who doesn't really targeting anything on the Giro other than did his best. So make sense, he should plan to create major headache tomorrow, just because :p. Then it would be awesome if all GC contender has to scramble chasing him...

Uran and Henao are adding a juicy sub-plot to this race.I'll be watching them carefully tomorrow, their little Colombian soap opera is fast becoming the conundrum of the 2013 Giro.Hope Uran drops Wiggins in the mountains next week, in a blatant show of defiance to Sky management, kids on he's confused, slows down for Wiggins like Froome did on La Toussuire, then just goes full gas while his leader flounders, winning the Giro in the process.Unlikely but fingers crossed.
