See, it's not that Wiggins was so great at the end but Downsett's climb at the end was really weak.

It seems that unless Nibali puts in a monster time the gaps will be small enough that whoever is best in the mountains (including the mountain TT) will be winning this Giro. These gaps are unlikely to be decisive.

Edit: Especially since the mountain finish time bonuses are back.

I'm puzzled that the gaps are so small in such a long and complicated ITT.

good for us...otherwise it would have been Sky defending the lead...now everthing is prepared for some fireworks
