For him, it's the best way to have freedom in races, but for UAE as a team, it's another mistake. Morgado did what he had to do as a domestique yesterday, while they've renewed Vermeersh's contract, who isn't going to win them a race and doesn't act like a domestique when he should.
Morgado performs well as a domestique and in the future I believe he is much more of a winner than Vermeersch.

It's obvious that UAE has a terrible sporting management team.

HLN did another summary of whats going on in the transfer market. There's a lot, but most important things.

* Laporte staying at Visma
* De Lie has interest from RBH and Tudor
* Ben Turner is Going to SOQ
* Hayter, Landa, Pedersen, Vansevenant, Schachmann and Svrček will probably not be renewed

If they signed Sivakov because Seixas wants him as a domestique, isn't the news that Seixas might leave the team contradictory? :tearsofjoy:

These are the tactics of football. The agent starts a rumor and gets a higher salary than what they were offering .It might even be a tactic by Decathlon to avoid so much criticism in France regarding the change to Switzerland.

Seixas to RB, a replacement for Remco?

Would be good competition for Tim Van dijke and pelizzari as potential team leader

John Degenkolb will stay in the bunch for another year. He didn't specify which team with, but sounds like it'll still be PicNic.

edit: officially confirmed as well now:

Harold Tejada is on his way to Sky for 3 years I saw on twitter, finally a proper transfer!!! What a coup!!!
So Tejada will be 30 next April so i don't think he'll blossom into a GT contender at Ineos. Then again if Ineos think they can buy Seixas ....

Very recent intel indicates Harold Tejada is close to signing with the British team. According to sources, a three-year deal is being finalised for the 29-year-old, who currently races for XDS Astana Team.

I will forever be a Seixas hater if he actually does that
Most people are already starting to really dislike UAE, but this might push it over the edge. Don’t think the peloton will do them any favours and the public will cheer just if they fail

As well as being a big Pogacar fan I like a lot of the riders at UAE however if this transfer was to occur it would be an absolute travesty for the entire sport to deny the rivalry that is emerging as the most compelling in the sport almost before it has really got started.
