Can't imagine wiggins attacking much. He'll finish with, or slightly behind, Nibali on every road stage. And then there's the matter of the MTT..if he is indeed ill now, and recovers greatly, he could conceivably win the race there, but I bet against it.

if he's ill, he should be like evans last year then:D. finishing god knows where. maybe he should dnf and prepare to take leadership from Froome at the tour.:p:p

You are reading too much into one climb. Just like others in this forum. Trust me when the big mountains come results can be reversed completely. Aerobic versus anaerobic.

7 minute anaerobic effort?

Lots of people are forgetting Gesink. With only a MTT left, he is in contention for victory if he stays upright. The TT course was great for him and he limited his losses.

Why is Santambrogio gone from being tbh a hack on the climbs to this year being super strong? *cough* *cough*

Great ride by Cadel, thankfully he is not in Pink just yet!

Hugh

Yes, all Cadel needs to do is to wait and then pounce. Nothing too fancy.

Actually Gesink is fabulous at short MTT, he can even take time off other favorites

Santa's TT was not bad either if I remember the results correctly.

No. By any means. But it could help the bigger guys and not 100%.

It killed some of the smaller climbers even though "it was a climb".

As another person in this forum some other riders could have started the climb fresher than others.

It is not as big of a deal as people wants it to be, really.

Look at Gilbert in the past. Does killing everyone on the steep hills told you the story about how good he was going to be on the big climbs?
