Sadly this Giro already looks over. Nothing against Nibali but it would have been nice to see an exciting race.

After all that has happened the last two days it's still back to Nibali v Wiggins!

Intxausti already past Dowsett time and he has still more than a kilometer to go. He doesn't seem to be on form really it seems. He's going to loose a gigantic amount of time. Absolutly not what he should be capable of.

Fantastic ride by Vincenzo Nibali. Congrats to him. Wiggo and Hesjedal dissapointed. Waiting for spectacular batles in the mountains!

This was a fantastic time trial from Nibali considering he has never been great at those and that he crashed twice yesterday!!!!!

Well, given Nibali couldn't beat one of his less celebrated domestiques, I'm going to assume that Wiggins ride was truly terrible, and the wind may well have shifted badly.

Great ride from Dowsett, very good by Evans & Nibali, very bad by Ryder and worse by Wiggins.

I celebrate Kangert every day
Honestly though Kangert is a machine, not a guy with great aerodynamic abilities, but on a hard tt like this today I was not THAT suprised that he did this well.

He has looked very good all race, and a good ITT is not uncommon for him. The hills help too. I was more hopeful of a podium than actually thinking he would do it.

brilliant ride by Wilco Basementman.

Hesjedal very disappointing. Kruijswijk as well, even though he might have had a flat.

Wiggins recovered superbly from yesterday. Only 10s slower including a bike change. He started slow, but then really took advantage of the less technical second section.

Great performance by Nibali.

Gesink did well enough. Evans paced himself very well, great result for him.

This was only a superb recovery if he already thought he was riding for a top 10 placing.

Cowardly riding in to the corners and definitely not displaying the record wattage numbers he had claimed.

He could still recover and win the race, but this was not a good day for him if he is still trying to win.
