Costa pulling Visconti to the front. Interesting, or is it just cos they're both working to the front for their own interests?

Costa just returned from a 2/3 weeks altitude camp in Sierra Nevada so he is still far from top shape.

Wellens for Roelandts, but why not Koren for Viviani?

Don't know, but Koren is contributing, albeit letting Visconti do the lion's share, whereas Wellens is doing absolutely nothing to help the break's chance of success. I mean, we could argue that Visconti's clearly the strongest of the three so they'd rather he be tired out before they contribute in order to maximise their chances of winning, but it would be a gamble since it would increase their chances of getting caught and harm their podium shout.

Presumably. But it's weird that Koren takes these big turns.

I spotted De Marchi and Paterski. Not sure about Elia.

Pippo is there if I'm not mistaken.

Edit: sorry Bodnar.

Stupid train juggernauts. Ride so hard you can't attack, and then when the attack does go people don't contribute. Very frustrating racing. All in for the Ty-Marrec now.
