Why bother going back to the team car to ditch your jacket? Why not throw it to some fans?

Do you throw your jacket into the hedge when you get too warm when you get riding?

Apparently Chavanel is back (according to a french channel), Nibali seems out of the race, will be difficult for Cav (waiting the first climbs).

Sporza also phoned with wilfried peters and he's still there according to him.

El Pisti is in top form today. Peaking too soon before Flanders and Roubaix?

Nah, Pisti does a year long peak, he could keep this going for months. :p

Can't blame me for posting when people are posting nonsense here. ;)

Goss abandonned yet no one is calling him a ***** for that. How long has he been in the hospital this winter?

Goss didn't whine. That's the difference.

And yes I agree another RVV or PR means more than MSR. ATM he is only sharing the record. He wants to be sole record holder. That means more than MSR, although it would also mean a lot if he won MSR.

Nibs still there. Chava abandoned according to Eurosports. Phinney has abandoned too. Not a good week for him.

Did it ever occur to you no journalist bothered (yet) to put a microphone under Goss's nose? ;)

Is it so wrong to ask to organisers to have prepared better for this? I think not. MSR needs 300km, not two stages of 140km.

Are you a pro cyclist ?

Riders change clothing all the time in races. All the time. Especially in long classics. Check out the startline gallery for any Monument. You've got guys in jackets and gilets and legwarmers you won't see them wearing at the finish. Chucking it to fans every race would cost a fricking fortune. Also most cyclists are inherently creatures of habit and will keep the same jacket/gilet/overshoes as much as they can. 'Liking' something is a big deal for most pros.

Why not, unlike Boonen he has actually won this race.
