Sky preparation for classic's: train super hard, 8 hours a day since December, including specific efforts and altitude camps.

Vanmarcke's preparation: crash, injure knee, only do swimming for a couple of weeks.

Result - Vanmarcke is awesome, Sky are ****ing horrible! Next year they should do swimming instead, at least they have a swimming coach ;)

If other riders wheelsuck the better rider they don't win. Or if they crash/flat tire.

Nothing to do with Cancellara's tactics which only consists out of riding everyone off his wheel because he's the strongest.

Sky made a decent race today actually imo. No real result to show for in the end though of course.

Really enjoyable race today, though I am a little disappointed with what happened to Stybar. Certainly much more competitive than expected.
