It's called an opinion - and by the way I have a maths degree and probably have far more qualifications than you - so before you call me *** in future remember that

So you're going to defend yourself with the "opinion"-argument.

That's what the dumb people in a forum do. Back it up with facts. It makes you look like an idiot otherwise since you can't defend yourself with proper arguments.

A maths degree doesn't make you a guy who knows everthing about cycling, let alone if it's true what you're saying.

Anyway here are my facts:
-Contador is by far the best GT-rider of the last 5 years.
-Tour 2012 was boring, partly because of his absence.
-Contador always attacks no matter how desperate it is ( tdf 2011 'alpe d'huez stage). That is something ASO can't look away from. Contador gives them guaranteed spectacle thus more views.
-Contador was on the podium during the presentation of the tour, heck he even was in a short clip talking about the tour. So ASO clearly doesn't have any hard feelings against Contador otherwise they would never do that. They realised that the tour needs a guy like Contador
- Do you really think they want to cause a ****storm by not inviting Contador? Would be negative publicity for the tour and would make them look like bloody idiots.

EDIT: They even let Contador ride the tour 2011 while there was a good chance his results would get cancelled, so no way, HELL NO :p

Those are my facts :D

ASO are scared to death by possible storm from Miburo from Denmark who then apparently is going to attack their office with a hayfork.

Good would be if Froome got Second on the TDF. And Wiggles second on Giro, losing to Nibali.

Then, they go to the Vuelta, last chance!! and the result:

1. Valverde.
2. Wiggles.
3. Froome.

of course, with AC wining the TDF in great style!!

Nice :D, climbers finally wake up.

it is hard to beat a Strong guy, like Cancellara, Boonen, Contador, etc.. so it is hard to not be predictable!

But I would like to see new names winning the big races next year.. :)

Plus the top guys (with exception of Wiggo and other win only in the TT types) are often very exciting racers. Exhibit A: Boonen at Roubaix Exhibit B: Contador at Vuelta Exhibit C: Cance at...everything.

And where's the exhibit for Valverde being a very exciting racer?

And I find Cancellara to be quite boring after April actually(with a notable exception in 2008 and WC in 2009). If he raced more like he did in Tour de Suisse 2008... That was just insane. It's why I'm against time trials for the Tour de Suisse. Don't gift him the stages, make him fight for it!

The Vuelta! First winning the TTT, beats Purito to the first stage win, crashed out by Sky and desperately tries to make it back, beats Purito and Contador to another stage win, tries to chase down Contador on Fuente De and comes within 6 seconds of doing so, ends up 2nd on the podium :p

I wasn't saying every top guy is exciting just that often times a lot of them are. Especially in the classics more so than in the GT's.

He's a wheelsucker, especially in one day races. Barely co-operated with Evans and Phil to catch the duo up front, or to catch Phil later in the race. At the Worlds he didn't dare to ride a few seconds up front to chase after Phil.

Now on the likely basis of the UCI then ASO shafting Saxo.......I'd switch the GT's to...

Giro: Contador
Tour: Froome
Vuelta: Contador
