Not many changes in the top 20 (GC) if any, but today's stage was raced hard in headwind the entire way. Lots of action too.

Stage 4 of tour of Turkey > FW '13

Congrats to the Gorilla.

Stage 5.

Same start and finish towns (or city) as last year, but the climbs in the first part looks more difficult on this route (I'am guessing here):

Early start: 9am (CEST)

Early estimated finish: 1:30pm (CEST)

Big break perhaps as we have more than 100 riders at +10 minutes.

wouldn't worry about issues this year.

Stage 5 in progress.

after 25km or so, Peloton split into two groups with gap of 3 minutes.

There will be some action today (again). Hopefully some of it on TV.

edit: 70 riders in first peloton.

edit 2: gap now 3:55. Jersey holders in front group.

don't think so, its the first climb of the day. Harder than expected.

That climb was 7/8 kms @ 8%, so already very hard for some. Kittel must already be 20 mins behind.

Three riders in front (guessing a bit):

Grechyn, Pauwels and Bagot

1:10

First peloton

4 minutes (or more)

2nd peloton

edit: break consumed by front peloton again, just after KOM.

Greipel is in front group.

New situation.

after 75km, 8 riders leads with 4 minutes to first peloton:

Juul Jensen (TST), Belkov (KAT), Duret (BSE), Pagani (BAR), Levarlet (COF), Quintero (COL), De Maar (UHC), Bakirci (TRK)

Pagani is only +53s behind leader in GC.

First peloton appears to be waiting for 2nd part to get reinforced.

A long way to go, but this stage will not be easy for anybody.

This guy is so embarassing,he drops on every little hill(Guardini is not much better).
It will be entertaining to see him at Tour against allaround sprinter like Sagan,my goddd Greipel and Cav are climbers in comparison to him:D

He'll definitely get caught, those rolling hills on wide roads are the worst for a breakaway.
